This past summer, two of our lab members received undergraduate research scholarships. Congratulations and well done!
Mackenzie received an REU scholarship from the Ohio State University, working (remotely) at OSU’s Center for Emergent Materials;
Gozde received the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships (SURF) from Purdue to work in our own lab;
Jeremy and Botao served as SURF graduate mentors
Installed new microwave lines to Prof. Yong Chen’s Bluefors dilution fridge, and the first cool down is a success! Hey, that’s a superconducting cavity right there:-) Good job @Botao @Maaz @Boyi
The team travels to Chicago to attend the Midwest Cold Atom Workshop (MCAW 2019) at Northwestern University. Alex gives a short talk. Team visits the Simon and Schuster labs at UChicago!
